BRIAN’S LAW

How many other people have died due to such an evil mind and unleashed fury that claimed insanity? How many more will yet to come?

This foundation was began by a grieving love that had lost a young star in their life. When the outcry was given another caring heart joined. Still others supported us. We hope countless more do.

We want it made LAW that people who have undergone drug rehab or mental treatment and who have been prescribed medication that alters or controls their personalities and possibilities of lethal or harmful actions but who refuse or quit taking that medication for whatever excuse they may find to be held legally LIABLE for criminal acts they commit.

If upon being informed, they have the forethought and clarity of mind to willfully and knowingly DECIDE not to take that medication, then it stands to reason that they then take knowing responsibility for their actions as adults and they should be held criminally liable for acts of murder or harm.

If the medication makes them clear headed then they're clearly deciding to stop taking the meds that make and keep them that way and know damn well it could lead to real danger.

They should face the exact same trials and penalties that any other citizen would. When charged with a capital murder that was committed openly before many witnesses and there was an intent stated to do so before the act was committed, frankly, his ass needs to go down.

Further it should be noted and decreed that all defendants with criminal charges pending trial as of the day this is made mandate, be held accountable by this legislation should they be found guilty in a court of law.

It is our considered belief that having this decree made binding and the public notified that it will discourage and deter further crimes against life and well being. Far too often the worry of penance is cast aside by criminal intents clearly knowing that they can always plead insanity. It’s time we take that umbrella away.

NOTE: The sources for the information contained on this site range from statements given by family members of the accused, first account witnesses on the scene, and undisclosed sources also. At this time these sources cannot be named but they are verified accounts. The name of the man charged with this crime is certainly well known as there were several witnesses to the murder itself as well as the stated intent to do so before the deed was done. However in interest of reducing risk to the prosecutors case, he cannot be named here as yet. The man who committed this criminal deed will be referred to on this site as "the accused" or "the defendant" among other generic titles. He has been arrested and received a bond of $100,000 although no plea has been entered into evidence and the preliminary hearing for this case has yet to be held. Until such time as more evidence is presented on public record it must be done in this way. Legal purposes of protection to this organization and it's efforts to legally assist the due process of justice decree that I must remind, all defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
